Established in 1997 by Sam and Mandy Weaver, Churton was built on a foundation of family values and respect for the land.

At Churton we firmly believe that the source of exceptional wines lies in the vineyard. Biodynamic farming allows us to truly express our sites and soils, producing soulful, organically certified wines from our distinctive hillside vineyard in Marlborough, New Zealand.
We focus on just four grape varieties, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Noir and Petit Manseng, which we believe are best suited to our undulating hillside vineyard with its the north-east aspect, clay soils and specific microclimate. Our wines reflect the diversity of our individual blocks and combine texture, complexity, flavour and length.
