The Governors Bay can be accessed from Queen Charlotte Drive (a scenic road with spectacular views of the sound and the green hills along the way). The trailhead is located only about a 15-minute drive from Picton. The track leads down to a beautiful golden beach surrounded by native bush.

Governors Bay is accessed via a short walking track, just a 15 minute drive from Picton on Queen Charlotte Drive. Queen Charlotte Drive, between Picton and Havelock, is the main road in the Sounds.
