Winterhome Garden is the result of over nearly four decades of hard work by its creators - Richard and Sue Macfarlane - and is today a proud family run operation. It's unique large scale design which incorporates nearly 10 acres of formal garden provides a wealth of atmospheric vistas and settings nestled above the rugged Marlborough coastline.
Winterhome Garden provides an opportunity for visitors to enjoy and explore world class garden design using strong lines, intersecting axes, and a variety of flora species. With mass plantings, sensational Pacific Ocean views and year around appeal, the garden exhibits a timeless presence and celebrates the incredible vision of its founders.
The garden has been identified by the New Zealand Gardens Trust as a garden of national significance.
