Tūpari Wines
The Tūpari Wines Cellar Door offers an authentic Awatere Valley artisan wine tasting experience on the main road south SH1 in Seddon.
There are so many reasons why our wine is delicious. Every decision we make is about creating the best possible wine for you to share. We love talking technical whenever we can, but we also know that most of you just want to know if the wine is good. It is. It’s stunning.
Tūpari takes its name from the Māori word for the dramatic cliffs that form the Upper Awatere Valley of Marlborough, New Zealand. This is where the Turnbull family and pioneering winemaker Glenn Thomas have collaborated to create wines of distinction. Working with the rhythm of the seasons, this dry and wind blown land produces grapes with wonderful flavour. Glenn works to showcase these flavours in the wines produced by Tūpari.
Visit our Cellar Door on weekdays 11-3 or by appointment for complimentary tastings of our eight delicious wines and an authentic Awatere experience. Located conveniently on State Highway 1 in Seddon. Just a 20 min drive from Blenheim, in the old Seddon Railway Station.
