(The) Gallery Havelock

The Gallery Havelock is a non profit trust art gallery set up to showcase Marlborough artists. Located on the main road in Havelock the two storied art gallery currently showcases twenty five Marlborough artists was opened in 2014. There is a variety of art mediums represented at the gallery including oil and acrylic paintings, mixed media, photography, sculpture, bone and jade carving, woodwork, blue pearl & sterling silver jewellery and ceramics.

The Gallery’s artists include Colin Wynn, Rebekah Codlin, Lindsay Jefferis, Rick Edmonds, Clarry Neame, Joanna Upperton, Saskia Smith, Liz Kempthorne, Sue Syme, Jarod Udy, Val Griffith-Jones, Bonnie Coad, Steve Halton, Clem Mellish, Norm Clark Estate, Liz Downey, Craig Powell, Glen Waters, Renate Von Petersdorff, Troy Warring, Christine Marks, Marian Brandish, Mandy Hargood, Arapawa Pearls.

A dedicated team of volunteers and trustees keep the Gallery operating and open seven days per week year-round. We do, however, close Good Friday, ANZAC Day 10-1pm, October 14 (Volunteer Luncheon) & Christmas Day.

120,000 + visitors from all over New Zealand and the world have visited the art gallery in wee Havelock. The Gallery Havelock profits are given back to the local community organisations with over $73,000 being donated to date.
