Hello all, my name is Mitch from Skiddaw Farm Honey in the Marlborough Sounds, Our bees make a beautiful raw multifloral manuka honey which goes straight from hive to jar. It’s just me and my wee family working on and with the land, we pack into glass jars and also have family sized buckets available at a reduced price. The family farm is nestled between forest and sea where our bees share this remote property with a herd of cattle, a few sheep and a horse called Jimmy. We harvest our honey once a year right at the end of the flowering season which produces an exceptional flavourful honey solely unique to Skiddaw Farm. We always make sure we then leave enough honey for the bees to eat through winter so that we don’t have to feed them sugar. Our honey is independently tested for its manuka content. We also get tests done to determine the floral sources of the honey, so you know exactly what you are getting. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do! Cheers, Mitch & Emily
