As part of a community who are passionate about our history and heritage, the Renwick Museum collects and displays the history of Renwick, Marlborough and the surrounding areas.

The Story of Renwicktown from Pioneer to Pinot Noir Renwick Museum showcases the history of Renwick (formally Renwicktown) from it's beginnings in the early 1850's to the start of the wine industry in the 1970's. It houses the Olga Watson Memorial Library, which houses an extensive collection of early school learning materials and includes the largest collection of School Journals in NZ outside of the National Library. It also houses the Renwick Public Lending Library. We have for sale a number of books on the history of the region and the museum. Monday 10:00am - 3:00pm Attended Tuesday - Sunday 9:00am - 5:00pm unattended or by appointment. Entry Free - donations welcome
