'Our spacious and tasteful contemporary Beach house Retreat, is nestled amongst the trees, overlooking 'Cloudy Bay' in the heart of the famous Marlborough wine-growing region of New Zealand. Included with your accommodation, is a comfortable King-size bed and fresh Turkish cotton sheets.. We offer free Wifi, and our delicious healthy breakfast accompanied by our famous home-roasted coffee from our classic Italian Carimali Espresso coffee machine. Private 1-on-1 Yoga sessions and extended immersion Yoga Retreat courses are available by request as an optional extra. These are conducted by Lee who is an experienced, Internationally qualified Iyengar teacher. A delicious 2-course Evening Meal is also available by request (optional extra). Rarangi Retreat has direct private access right onto the beach front. Wander for hours along the deserted driftwood-covered beach, or walk to Monkey Bay nearby. Watch the most amazing sunrises from our elevated decks or relax with a book and a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. For Golf lovers, we are right across the road from Rarangi Golf course, Marlborough's Premier 18 Hole All Weather Golf Course. Productive salt-water fishing is available nearby at the Wairau river mouth, and the Wairau river is among the great trout (fresh-water) fishing rivers of this region. We are a well-travelled, friendly and engaging couple with many years of professional hospitality in our charter-yacht hosting experience, and we look forward to sharing our stories, food and local knowledge with you.' Marlborough is famous for its vineyards right on our doorstep. Take advantage of a pre-arranged wine tour, and visit a selection of the region's top wine producers. You can also map out your own route & self drive to explore your favourites or, get lost in the Sounds, amongst a maze of coves & peninsulas.
