Locally owned and operated, Pelorus Air offers a great opportunity to access the Marlborough Sounds and the greater Northern region of the South Island from above. We can offer a varying range of Scenic Flight options for 2-5 people. Remote beach landings and Air Charters are no problem. Our aircraft and pilots are very capable of getting passengers from Picton, Wellington, Paraparaumu and even Nelson...to some of the far reaches of the area. We service airstrips in Port Gore, Nopera, D'Urville Island, Elie Bay and even Awaroa in the Abel Tasman National Park. Additionally we can help out with aerial photography services, aircraft type ratings and Cargo/Freight services. If you're the keen outdoors type, we can transport you to walk or bike the Great Walks of the area. Flights into Port Gore can give you an additional 2-3 hours of walking up and over on an excellent path into Ship Cove and the start of the Queen Charlotte Track. Alternatively we can fly you into Awaroa Bay. From there you can relax on the golden beaches or take a stride into the Abel Tasman National Park, another great walk. Don't forget the beauty of The Heaphy Track. We can most definitely help you out for access to Brown Hut (east coast) or Karamea (west coast).
