Here on Arapawa Island we have three delightful accommodations for your choice of a relaxing Marlborough Sounds holiday.

Little Colonsay Beach House looks out over our private beach, is fully self-contained and can accommodate 12 guests. Fully equipped, it has full amenities including a Webber BBQ on the deck and is perfect for a weekend get-away. 

Gunyah is a historic holiday home situated on the hills overlooking the entrance to Tory Channel and the dramatic views of the Cook Strait. It is fully equipped, private and has full amenities to have a very comfortable stay. Gunyah can accommodate up to 13 visitors

The School Cottage, which is the remodelled school, where the whaler's children were educated. This special, cosy cottage is located on the grassy flats of Whekenui Bay and comfortably sleeps a maximum of 6 guests. The open plan living includes the kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave. There are separate shower and toilet facilities.

We have beautiful scenic walks all over our farm and our sandy beach is safe for children. It’s a perfect location to go diving from and the fishing enthusiasts can fish from our jetty. All three accommodations are Qualmark Silver 3-star rated. All linen and towels are supplied and all are pet-friendly (prior approval required) and a mooring may be available—fees apply.
