Wineries like Yealands Estate and Spy Valley are committed to improving their sustainability practices.

Yealands is a carboNZero certified winery and the company has implemented a number of initiatives to improve energy efficiency, including the installation of solar power, the introduction of babydoll sheep to minimise weed spraying and lawn mowing, and the development of more than 25 wetland areas.

Family owned Spy Valley Wines flicked the switch as the first solar producing winery in New Zealand.

There is even MANA Winegrowers - a collective of organic farmers, who live, work and play in Marlborough, NZ. United by a commitment to hand-crafting stunning wines, sharing knowledge and safeguarding the land of one of the most beautiful places on earth.

MANA consists of Clos Henri, Hans Herzog, Te Whare Ra and Huia Vineyards.
