Head out on the boat, whether it be your own, a mates, or perhaps let the skipper take you to the best spots with a half or full day fishing charter. The Marlborough Sounds is also well suited to smaller craft such as kayaks and dinghies due the calm waters and sheltered bays, a perfect way to escape from reality for a few hours will casting a line out the side. Some bays drop-off very quickly, making it great for fishing off the shore or wharf. 

For the kids, wharf fishing couldn't be any better! There is an abundance of small fish, such as spotties which live around the wharfs and are great fun to catch.
