This track veers off the classic Queen Charlotte Track trail, to take in a wonderful winding road through native bush. Mondo Kopua from the Marlborough Mountain bike club encourages anyone to do this ride, with its stunning scenery.

Treat it as a day tour if you want to ride it slowly, and stay or camp overnight somewhere along the way, like the Mistletoe Bay Eco Village, Te Mahia Resort or at Linkwater.

The route is: Anakiwa - Queen Charlotte Track - Mistletoe Bay (13kms) – Kenepuru Rd - Te Mahia and back to the start.
