Marlborough Lines warmly invites the Marlborough community to our first ever twilight event. Join us for a unique opportunity to watch the 68-tonne, 94-year-old Paxman diesel engine in action and see our special displays at the Marlborough Lines’ Generation Museum.
The Paxman engine, capable of producing 430kW, was installed in 1930 to generate back-up power and is the only engine of its kind in the world that is still operable.
Engine running time is 6pm. This event is FREE and there are exhibits for the whole family to experience.
