Marlborough Lines is excited to welcome everyone to our Generation Museum Twilight Opening on April 19 from 4-7pm!! Join us for this FREE event at the corner of Thomsons Ford and Old Renwick Roads. Don't miss the rare Paxman engine in action at 4:30pm and 6:30pm. We can’t wait to see you there!
The Paxman engine, capable of producing 430kW, was installed in 1930 to generate back-up power and is the only engine of its kind in the world that is still operable.
Engine running times are 4.30pm and 6.30pm. This event is FREE and there are displays for the whole family to explore.
