Marlborough Lines is excited to open the doors of our Generation Museum on February 16 from 2-4pm, and we can’t wait to share it with you! This FREE event will be held at the corner of Thomsons Ford and Old Renwick Roads, with the rare Paxman engine running at 3pm.
The Paxman engine, capable of producing 430kW, was installed in 1930 to generate back-up power and is the only engine of its kind in the world that is still operable.
Engine running time is 3pm. This event is FREE and there are exhibits for the whole family to experience.
