The Marlborough Biodiversity Forum aims to provide a platform for community conservation groups, landowners, iwi, youth and agencies to network, support and learn with each other to grow conservation in Marlborough. This May the forum will have a Marine Theme, with a particular focus on restoring the Marlborough Sounds marine environment.
Forum Format:
Three guest speakers followed by an open-floor panel discussion on the topics covered:
* Raewyn Peart - A keynote speaker who will present key findings of the Environmental Society's recent report on restoring the Marlborough Sounds
* Alan Johnson - How the Kotahitanga mō te Taiao Alliance Strategy Implementation Pathway Plan will work for marine biodiversity
* Katie Littlewood - Current marine restoration initiatives occurring in the Marlborough Sounds
