Elevate - Pride Wairau Workshop Series (2)

IN THIS WORKSHOP, ATTENDEE'S WILL DELVE INTO THE FOLLOWING TOPIC:

- Supporting Your Rainbow Whānau
This 2 hour workshop delivered by two of InsideOUT Kōaro's experienced educators will explore how to best support, advocate for and uplift those in your whānau and communities that belong to rainbow communities. The workshop is designed to give anyone at any stage of their learning improved confidence in supporting the rainbow people in their lives, along with ways to activate allyship for these communities. We will focus on the practical experiences of rainbow communities, as well as things everyone can do to support inclusion and equity in their communities.

About InsideOUT Kōaro:

InsideOUT Kōaro is a national charity in Aotearoa, committed to making the country a safer and more inclusive place for all rainbow and takatāpui individuals. We provide education, resources, consultation, and support on matters concerning rainbow (LGBTQIA+) communities. Our mission is to work collaboratively with youth, whānau, schools, community groups, and other organizations to create environments where rainbow young people feel a sense of safety and belonging.

Registration:

Spaces are limited, so early registration is essential. Each workshop is free to attend and is limited to 25 participants to ensure an engaging and interactive environment. This intimate setting allows our facilitators to connect closely with attendees, fostering a free-flowing and supportive atmosphere.

Workshops will take place in a central location in Blenheim CBD - location will be revealed to ticket holders prior to the workshop.
