Sally (1940 - 2008) and Ken (1935 - 2025) Mackay were great advocates for Marlborough having a public art gallery. Sally and Ken lived and taught in Marlborough for many years and supported artists by acquiring their work. JS (John) Parker was one of their closest friends.
