Waikawa Boating Club

The Waikawa Boating Club is located in the heart of the Waikawa Marina right on the water's edge and provides an ideal gateway to exceptional cruising grounds in the stunningly beautiful Marlborough Sounds.

The Marlborough Sounds cover 20% of New Zealand's coastline and with over 80 sheltered moorings available in the best anchorages in Queen Charlotte and Pelorus Soundds and D'Urville Island, our members are truly spoiled for choice.

We have a comprehensive racing program for competitive yachties and the largest keel boat Regatta south of Tauranga. We also run a Learn to Sail program with a focus on building skills and confidence on the water and have an active Cruising schedule of raft-ups and longer cruises for launches and yachts.

Our Restaurant, Bar and Wardroom are well known for great food and drinks as well as outstanding company.
