Renwick Heritage

The Story of Renwicktown from Pioneer to Pinot Noir

Renwick Museum showcases the history of Renwick (formally Renwicktown) from it's beginnings in the early 1850's to the start of the wine industry in the 1970's. It houses the Olga Watson Memorial Library, which houses an extensive collection of early school learning materials and includes the largest collection of School Journals in NZ outside of the National Library. It also houses the Renwick Public Lending Library. We have for sale a number of books on the history of the region and the museum.
