Molesworth Cobb Cottage Campsite
If you're planning on driving or cycling through Molesworth Station, New Zealand's largest farm, it's worth spending a night at the Department of Conservation campsite beside the historic Cobb Cottage (built 1885), at the foot of the rolling golden hills.
There's a spectacular natural swimming pool to be found at the foot of weeping willows. At the other end of the Molesworth Road, you can camp at Acheron, and swim in the nearby river.
