Allan Scott is one of the true pioneers and a name synonymous with New Zealand’s acclaimed Marlborough region, having planted the region’s first vineyard in 1973. Allan, along with wife Catherine, founded the Allan Scott Family Winemakers label in 1990, and it quickly became a household brand name in the highly competitive industry.
Today, Allan, Catherine and family, Victoria, Joshua and Sara, head up the production and marketing management of the company with a highly skilled operational team.
Allan Scott Family Winemakers is one of the most visited wineries in Marlborough. It has a fully operational purpose built winery, with a cellar door and vineyard restaurant.
Lunch at Twelve Trees Restaurant is a must for visitors, celebrating the best in Marlborough. The great food and relaxing atmosphere, whether in the sheltered courtyard, or inside by the fire, provide a warm welcome.
