An organised picnic
Enjoy a lovely light meal that we provide, at the beautiful Grovetown Lagoon Restoration Project.

Walk the Grovetown Lagoon partly guided and partly at your own leisure
The oxbow shaped lagoon is home to a wide variety of birds – the Loop Track provides easy access to walk right around and see the birds and the lagoon from different viewpoints. Grovetown Lagoon is one of just a few natural wetlands remaining on the Marlborough’s Wairau Plain.
The restoration project aims to improve the water quality and ecological values of the lagoon to provide a better habitat for fish and birds.

A must see!
