Walking and exploring in the Marlborough Sounds, Exploring the wineries and restaurants particularly the ones who use locally produced food.

You live and work in the Marlborough Sounds, what is it about the area that makes it so brilliant for work and play?

The beauty and the diversity of the two Sounds which are both very different in their own right, particularly how the colour and light are constantly changing with the seasons and the prevailing weather. Even after living here for 10 years I am still amazed how we are still finding new places to enjoy in the Sounds and how when you go to the next bay every thing changes again. The local community and community spirit really make it a great place to live and work.

For a special dinner Arbour and their chefs choice menu matched with locally sourced wines from the region is always inspiring, and delightful. For lunch the wineries offer some amazing diverse meals accompanied with great locally produced wine and beer, most notable are the family owned wineries Alan Scott's, Vines Village and St Clair cellar door.
