Annual Pipe Band Contest usually held in Christchurch, but this year held in Blenheim at Lansdowne Park. Celebrating our Scottish culture. There will be 12 Pipe Bands, including youth bands competing both days in a build-up to the NZ National Contest in Christchurch, two weeks later. Saturday morning will commence with a Street March in town, then followed by the music events at the Park. This is a free event. Food vendors on site. Bring your families, a deck chair and picnic lunch and enjoy the bands.
This event is run in conjunction with the Blenheim & Districts Highland Pipe Band.
