Pioneers of the New Zealand entertainment industry, Stewart and Tricia Macpherson, will celebrate 50 golden years in “showbiz” in 2023 and to mark this amazing milestone, they will present a show stopping journey through their greatest musical triumphs.

50 Golden Years of Musicals will allow audiences to relive the Macphersons’ musical journey, through songs from productions including Blood Brothers, The Rocky Horror Show, Evita, Starlight Express, Flashdance, Million Dollar Quartet, American Idiot, Pirates of Penzance, Chicago, Jekyll & Hyde and Ken Hill’s Phantom of the Opera.

Featuring a setlist of songs such as Time Warp from The Rocky Horror Show, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina from Evita, the classic Memory from Cats, All That Jazz from Chicago and the high-energy What A Feeling and Maniac from Flashdance … and many more. Presented by a hugely talented cast of NZ actor/singers and musicians, with a Narrator linking the Macpherson’s history and the ‘greatest hits of musicals’ together.
