Registrations on the day open 9 am.

The Mt Vernon Grand Traverse starts at the Redwood gateway carpark, a few hundred meters down Redwood Street and then the course turns left along the Forest Hills Track which follows the base of the Wither Hills along until just before the Rifle Range Car Park where another left turn heads up the twisting Gentle Annie route onto the ridge, along past the twin tanks and up to the Taylor view track.

The route then follows the Split Apple Track round and down before a steady climb up to intercept the Mt Vernon Track just before the trig. A right turn and a short run up and around the trig before heading down the Mt Vernon track and bearing right onto the Cobb Cottage Track.

At the bottom of the ridge, a sharp left joins the Mapp Track which undulates all the way back to the Redwood gateway car park and the finish. Age restriction 14 years plus

The Mt Vernon Fun Run/Walk starts on the Sutherland Stream Track just after the Redwood St Gateway Car Park. The route heads up the Sutherland Stream track and takes a right turn just after the picnic area on the Covenant track which climbs steeply before joining the Mt Vernon Track.

A right turn follows the Mt Vernon Track up to the trig, then the down to the Cobb Cottage track on the right and finally up and down on the Mapp Track to the finish. Age restriction 12 years plus

The Kid’s Challenge runs along the Map Track east from the Redwood Gateway Car Park, there are three small undulating hills and after 1km there is a turnaround and back down to the finish. Age restriction 12 years and under.
