Marlborough District Council is subsidising water and air transport at $25 per person, one way departures to support Marlborough Sounds residents and visitors affected by the August 22 weather event.

All residents, businesses owners, tradespeople, essential services and visitors are eligible for the subsidy. Bookings can be made with the Marlborough i-SITE by phoning 0800 777 181 or directly with water transport operators using the promo codes in the links below (subsidy will be applied at time of booking)

In addition to the per passenger subsidy, Marlborough District Council will also subsidise 50 per cent of each grocery and essential supplies delivery cost to those residents who can no longer travel by road.
