Vau Vineyard Cottage

A lovely, modern, self contained one bedroom cottage, situated amongst the vines in our working vineyard in Marlbourough's Wairau Valley, with views to the picturesque Richmond Ranges and Wither Hills. The cottage has a large, fully equipped living/dining/kitchen area with sofa that folds down to a 3/4 double bed, 32in plasma television with freeview, radio, CD and DVD players, plus some games and books for that odd rainy day, when the heat pump will keep you toasty warm. The dining-kitchen area has a dining table with four chairs, fridge freezer, hob, microwave and sink bench containing crockery, pots, pans and all utensils to make yourself at home, plus tea, coffee and other condiments. The double bedroom has a king size bed with quality linen, which can be reconfigured to two single beds by prior request, and a large wardrobe. On the wall is artwork by Sirpa Alalääkkölä, which is used on Vicarage Lane Wines stunning labels. Two fold out beds can also be added, to sleep up to 5 people. The large tiled bathroom has a walk-in shower, wall hung toilet, vanity with toiletries and a heated floor. There is also a steam iron and ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner for those longer stays.
