Visit Environment Award winning Conservation park Tui Nature Reserve, a remote hide away in a breathtaking world! Your journey starts in Elaine Bay, from where you will be picked up by boat and taken to your destination through the beautiful bays and coves from the Outer Pelorus Sound. When you arrive at the wharf in Waitata Bay, we will take you on an exciting ride with a Kawasaki Mule. You will be met by friendly hosts and Weka's, the curious New Zealand native non flying bird. Your hide away home is cosy, fully equipped with a woodburner for the colder months. The home is situated on a 160ha semi-island wilderness in the Sounds, located 180 metres above sealevel, and boasts exceptional panoramic views of the Pelorus from every window and the sunroom. A boat charter to the extreme rare King Shags or a Gannet colony is possible. Explore the lovely walking tracks that will end up on beautiful private beaches. Some of the tracks follow the ridge, 260 metre above sealevel with 360 degrees awesome views! This is the kind of place you will remember for the rest of your life.
