Main Hall - Accommodates 200 people or formal dining for 170 guests. Meeting Rooms - 2 Spacious, fully equipped rooms. Board room set up for 12 pax. Commercial kitchen and bar facilities to meet all catering requirements. Flexible catering options allow you to self-cater, supply your own caterer or have us manage your catering requirements. Sleeping area Accommodates up to 35 people, plus shower facilities and ablutions. Developed by Te Runanga a Rangitane O Wairau Trust as a meeting place and showcase for the development of Rangitane culture and art, it offers a modern, multi-purpose venue for functions and events. Built on the foot print of the old Grovetown Hall, from which the original wooden floors were salvaged and feature in the foyer, Ukaipo combines elements of Rangitane history and culture in a fully-equipped and beautifully-styled function centre. "The former Grovetown Hall was the centre of most Rangitane social events. It was the Kuia (Aunties) who presided over those events to ensure that everyone was fed and behaved properly, the name Ukaipo was chosen to honour the memory of those Kuia and their values, which remain with us to the present day."
