Ramona Bed and Breakfast

The waterfront home on the beautiful Mahau Sound has been designed for you to share. The guest floor has its own conservatory and is for your sole use. Here you can view the passing water traffic, awake to the call of bellbirds and tuis, and after breakfast stroll around the large garden, or fossick on the beach. We are 15 minutes from the south end of the Queen Charlotte Walkway. Launch tours of the Kenepuru and outer Pelorus Sound depart from Havelock (30 minutes by road from Ramona). Day trips by road into the Pelorus and the wine region of Marlborough are recommended. We can also book the Pelorus Mail Boat for you. Only one party at a time is hosted at Ramona. We have one queen room and one twin room, a conservatory for guests' sole use and a private bathroom all on the first floor. All beds have electric blankets. Tea and coffee is available in the conservatory. Continental breakfast is served in the family dining room, and a three course dinner with complimentary Marlborough wine may be available by prior arrangement.
