Laurella Cottage is luxurious, boutique accommodation, right in the heart of Marlboroughs wine region, which is fully equipped for self catering. Nestled into the renowned, Upton Oaks Gardens it is a little retreat where guests can unwind and enjoy the ambience and surrounding gardens. Your accommodation has its own private courtyard with an outdoor table setting for alfresco dining, along with the all important bbq where you might enjoy a fillet or two of our world renown Marlborough Salmon. The sumptuous Queen bed will assure you of a peaceful night’s sleep and the delightful views from the bedroom into the Gazebo Garden give a feeling of tranquillity and seclusion. Robes are also provided for your use and relaxation. The large bathroom, luxuriously appointed with a claw foot bath to relax in, a large shower with extra “rain falling” ceiling rose, and hand crafted cabinetry set against the backdrop of beautiful botanical wallpaper. Heated towel rails, hairdryer and NZ made soaps and toiletry requirements are all supplied. The fully complimented kitchen contains a oven, gas hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, plus a laundry with washing machine, tub, iron and board. We also have a selection of quality teas and nespresso coffee for you to enjoy. Provisions are included for a continental breakfast which includes a selection of home preserves, made from our organic produce from the gardens and eggs from our chickens.
