A Sea View Bed & Breakfast is set on the slopes of Whatamango Bay near Picton and enjoys an unimpeded, awe-inspiring view of the Marlborough Sounds and Queen Charlotte Track.

While enjoying our B&B accommodation you can experience the ever changing moods of Queen Charlotte Sound from the comfort of your room or from the sunny, open deck.

All the B&B rooms have views of tree-clad slopes reaching down to the shores of the Marlborough Sound's clear, turquoise waters. Dolphins, seals and many sea birds are our frequent visitors and whales are an exciting added seasonal attraction.

A Sea View Bed & Breakfast accommodation features a large terraced garden with native and exotic plants that attract abundant birdlife. All the guest rooms are designed to catch the sun and to have great views over the Sounds while still maintaining their own privacy as each room has its own entrance. Two offer kitchenette facilities and all provide off-street parking.

We have Wi-Fi available for guest use. At days end, share a glass of wine with Chris & Dave on the deck and take the opportunity of discussing ongoing travel plans. Guests may enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants, or self-cater with a light meal on their deck.

With its coastal retreats, rivers, mountains and rural plains, Marlborough provides a ready escape from the pressures of city living. Take the opportunity to go fishing, sailing, diving, swimming, kayaking, tramping or hunting or just unwind in the sunshine.
